Gunners Mate 2nd Class Cedric Wright, assigned to the Maritime Civil Affairs Team aboard High Speed Vessel Swift, prepares to set a patient down on a bed before he is fitted for a wheelchair by physical therapy graduate students from California State University at Northridge. MCAT worked with the students from Northridge at Hope Haven Guatemala to provide customized wheelchairs to children and assistance to those patients who have physical and mental disabilities such as scoliosis and cerebral palsy. The subject matter exchange was part of HSV-Southern Partnership Station 2012. HSV-SPS is an annual deployment to build partnerships in the Caribbean and Latin America.
