FREDERICKSBURG, Texas – (Dec. 13, 2018) Congratulations to Culinary Specialist 1st Class Casey Clayburg (third from left) of Dallas, assigned to Navy Recruiting Station Ingram, who was recognized as Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio’s 2018 Naval Special Operations/Naval Special Warfare Recruiter of the Year during the NRD’s Annual Awards Banquet held at the Hangar Hotel and Convention Center. Presenting the awards were (left to right) Command Master Chief Eric Mays, NRD Commanding Officer Cmdr. Jeffrey Reynolds, and Chief Recruiter Master Chief Matthew Maduemesi. For his professional achievement, Clayburg, a 2005 graduate of Hillcrest High School, was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. NRD’s area of responsibility includes more than 30 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory. The Navy’s recruiting force totals over 6,100 personnel in more than 1,000 recruiting stations around the globe.
