FREDERICKSBURG, Texas – (Dec. 13, 2018) Congratulations to Navy Counselor 1st Class Kelliann Ramirez of Atlanta, assigned to Navy Recruiting Station San Marcos, who was recognized as Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio’s 2018 Support Person of the Year during the NRD’s Annual Awards Banquet held at the Hangar Hotel and Convention Center. Presenting the awards were (left to right) Command Master Chief Eric Mays, NRD Commanding Officer Cmdr. Jeffrey Reynolds, and Chief Recruiter Master Chief Matthew Maduemesi. For her professional achievement, Ramirez, a 2000 graduate of Herzing College, was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. NRD’s area of responsibility includes more than 30 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory. The Navy’s recruiting force totals over 6,100 personnel in more than 1,000 recruiting stations around the globe.
