FREDERICKSBURG, Texas – (Dec. 13, 2018) Navy Recruiting District San Antonio was recognized as the 2018 Most Improved District of the Year within Navy Recruiting Region West during the NRD’s Annual Awards Banquet held at the Hangar Hotel and Convention Center. Presenting the award to Commanding Officer Cmdr. Jeffrey Reynolds (left) of Raleigh, N.C., was Region West Chief Recruiter Master Chief Theodore Schaffer. NRD’s area of responsibility includes more than 30 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory. The Navy’s recruiting force totals over 6,100 personnel in more than 1,000 recruiting stations around the globe.
