Marine Corps Gen. John R. Allen, commander of NATO and International Security Assistance Force troops in Afghanistan, issues the U.S. armed forces oath of enlistment to three U.S. sailors and one soldier during an Oct. 30, 2011, ceremony at ISAF Headquarters in Kabul, Afghanistan. Allen re-enlisted U.S. Navy Chief Simeon Cadavos, U.S. Army Sgt. Antoinette Ray, U.S. Navy HM2 Neil Oliver, and U.S. Navy MA2(AW) Gonzalo S. Torres Jr., all of which are currently deployed to Regional Command-Capital in the Greater Kabul area of Afghanistan. Where they’re from: Cadavos, a native of the Philippines, is deployed from 11th Dental Company in Iwakuni, Japan; Ray, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., is deployed from the 508th Transportation Company, Fort Lee, Va.; Oliver, a native of Nyssa Ore., is deployed from Naval Hospital Naples, Italy; and Torres, a native of Richmond, Texas, is deployed as an individual augmentee from Strategic Communications Wing 1, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla.
