    Left, U.S. Army 1st Lt. Andrew Adams, 1st platoon leader of Bravo Troop, 238th Cavalry, 504th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, and U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Joshua Dickey, Joint Terminal Attack Controller, scan the battlefield in Spin Boldak province, Afghanistan, Oct. 9, 2011. Later that night, the platoon took direct enemy fire, and suffered zero casualties.
