Air Force Pararescue Jumper trainees partner up in preparation for training, Aug. 17, 2011, at Calaveras Lake, Texas. During a lake confidence course, trainees must swim 1,000 meters within 25 minutes to pass. PJ training accomplished at Lackland AFB, Texas, includes physiological training, obstacle course, marches, dive physics, dive tables, metric manipulations, medical terminology, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, weapons qualifications, PJ history and leadership reaction course.
