A dark-colored military helicopter is performing an aerial refueling operation, with a refueling probe extended toward a drogue basket trailing from a tanker aircraft visible at the top of the frame. The helicopter appears to be an HH-60 Pave Hawk or similar Black Hawk variant, flying at altitude over a mountainous terrain visible in the background. The image captures the precision maneuver of probe-and-drogue air-to-air refueling.
