Staff Sgt. Russell A. Mulholland and the soldiers of Charlie Company, 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 194th Armor, based out of Sauk Centre, Minn., render a hand salute during the playing of "The Star-Spangled Banner" at their combat patch ceremony held at Camp Virginia, Kuwait, on the 10th anniversary of 9/11. Staff Sgt. Mulholland is a M1 Abrams tank mechanic from Brainerd, Minn., who has spent the past two months maintaining the armored vehicles driven by his company. As of Oct. 1, 2011, Charlie Company has escorted close to 4,000 trucks while covering over 121,000 miles in the country during Operation New Dawn – the post-combat stage in Iraq.
