180810-N-OX597-022 SANTA RITA, Guam (Aug. 10, 2018) - Tadd Oshiro, a mechanical engineer from the engineering and planning department at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, works at the Ship Support Office onboard Polaris Point, Aug. 10. Oshiro, part of a team of Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard engineers temporarily assigned to the Guam Maintenance Team, troubleshoots jobs for the machinery repairmen in the repair department aboard the submarine tender Frank Cable (AS 40). Prior to the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard team's arrival Frank Cable's repair department did not have access to this level of troubleshooting expertise. Frank Cable, forward deployed to Guam, repairs, rearms and reprovisions deployed U.S. Naval Forces in the Indo-Pacific region.
