Iriarte leads a group of Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard engineers known as the "Guam Trouble Desk" who provide the repair department aboard Frank Cable with a level of troubleshooting expertise not normally seen on the ship. Frank Cable, forward deployed to Guam, repairs, rearms and reprovisions deployed U.S. Naval Forces in the Indo-Pacific region.
