180810-N-OX597-017 SANTA RITA, Guam (Aug. 10, 2018) - Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard engineers participate in a repair department production meeting aboard the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), Aug. 10. The engineers, temporarily assigned to the Guam Maintenance Team, are informally known as the "Guam Trouble Desk." They support all maintenance activity performed by Frank Cable and Submarine Squadron 15, accurately identifying deficiencies prior to work starting. Before the "Guam Trouble Desk" Frank Cable lacked this caliber of troubleshooting expertise. Frank Cable, forward deployed to Guam, repairs, rearms and reprovisions deployed U.S. Naval Forces in the Indo-Pacific region.
