Members of recovery team two wait while being transported to investigate a potential recovery site in the Savannakhet province, Lao People's Democratic Republic. The team members are specialists with the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command out of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. They are conducting excavations and fieldwork searching for Americans still missing from the Vietnam War. The mission of JPAC is to achieve the fullest possible accounting of all Americans missing as a result of our nation's past conflicts.
