Army Staff Sgt. Shawn Harris, left, assists Army Staff Sgt. Alfonso Gacusan in assembling the pipes of a wet screening station used during excavation in the Savannakhet province, Lao People's Democratic Republic. The men are deployed with the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command out of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. They are aiding in the efforts attempting to recover service members missing from the Vietnam War. The mission of JPAC is to achieve the fullest possible accounting of all Americans missing as a result of our nation's past conflicts.
