Aerial footage of a flooded road in North Carolina. The photo was taken while supporting FEMA's initial damage assessment over North Carolina following Hurricane Irene. The initial damage assessment was flown aboard a UH-60 Black Hawk flown by the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade out of Fort Stewart, Ga. The aviation unit is conducting defense support of civil authorities in response to Hurricane Irene in coordination with U.S. Army North and U.S. Northern Command.
