180310-N-HE318-0129 PHILIPPINE SEA (March 10, 2018) Sailors from the forward-deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89) observe a Standard missile (SM-2) launch as part of a missile exercise (MISSILEX) during Multisail 18. MultiSail is a bilateral training exercise improving interoperability between the U.S. and Japanese forces. This exercise benefits from realistic, shared training enhancing our ability to work together to confront any contingency.
