    PACIFIC OCEAN (March 7, 2018) A Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) launches from the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) as part of the Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT) exercise. Essex Amphibious Readiness Group (ARG) is completing the Navy’s first full-length ARG SWATT. SWATT is led by the Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) and is designed to increase warfighting proficiency, lethality, and interoperability of participating units.
