Timothy Grevel, tactical assault command team non-commissioned officer in charge, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Squadron, 38th Cavalry Regiment, 525th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, provides security as children rush to get soccer balls after ribbon cutting ceremony for the new boys’ school in Weesh, Afghanistan, June 12. Soldiers handed out soccer balls for the children to play on their school’s new soccer field. Grevel, a Muskegon, Mich., native based out of Fort Bragg, N.C., screened and escorted more than 300 children and guests into the school compound and secured the surrounding area for the event.
