The new Weesh boys’ school officially opened with help from soldiers assigned to 1st Squadron, 38th Cavalry Regiment, 525th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, after a ribbon cutting ceremony in Weesh, Afghanistan, June 12. The soldiers, based out of Fort Bragg, N.C., oversaw construction of a two-story schoolhouse, soccer field, latrines, security wall and water well.
