Army Staff Sgt. Nicholas Galliano, tactical assault command team non-commissioned officer, Headquarters and Headquarters Company,1st Squadron, 38th Cavalry Regiment, 525th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade, provides security during a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new boys’ school in Weesh, Afghanistan, June 12. Galliano, a Metaire, La., native based out of Fort Bragg, N.C., screened and escorted more than 300 children and guests into the school compound and secured the surrounding area for the event.
