Contractors examine a boat wrecked by the hurricanes that struck Puerto Rico in preparation for its transfer to land at Ponce harbor on January 27, 2018 and its eventual disposal. September 2017's Hurricanes Irma and Maria sank numerous boats in Puerto Rican waters, so the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and contractors are working together for disposal of marine debris.
