Contractors move a vessel damaged by Hurricanes Irma and Maria at Ponce, Puerto Rico's harbor on January 27, 2018 as the U.S. Coast Guard transferred it and several others to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for disposal. The two September 2017 storms sank many vessels in Puerto Rico's waters, dozens of which the Coast Guard has recovered for disposal. The Corps of Engineers is the Federal Emergency Management Agency's lead for disposal of debris, including dozens of watercraft pulled from Puerto Rico's waters by the Coast Guard.
