U.S. Coast Guard Master Chief Petty Officer Martin Sewell observes contractors as they lift boats damaged by hurricanes Irma and Maria in Puerto Rico from a barge and place them on trucks. The Coast Guard and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are working together to remove marine debris caused by the storms in September 2017, one component of the Federal Emergency Management Agency-led federal response. Sewell's hometown is El Paso, Texas, and he currently lives in Cliffwood Beach, New Jersey.
