    Staff Sgt. Paul Mason, 451st Expeditionary Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron Detachment 1 Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility, biomedical equipment technician, waits to transport wounded Marines from the camp hospital to a waiting C-130 Hercules at Camp Bastion, Afghanistan. The CASF team is responsible for taking care of and transporting patients from the staging facility and role hospital to aircraft who are then transported to the next level of medical care. Sgt.
