180102-N-AZ808-1158 ARABIAN GULF (Jan. 2, 2018) Fire Controlman 1st Class Jeffrey Napier performs a takedown on Fire Controlman 3rd Class Jacobie Frederick during naval security force training aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97). Halsey is deployed with the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
