180102-N-AZ808-1224 ARABIAN GULF (Jan. 2, 2018) Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97) practice takedown techniques during naval security force sentry training. Halsey is deployed with the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
