Emily May (left), administrative officer for Operation Blue Roof, and Pat Shaw, performing database management, are two of many specialists at the Dorado Field Office taking care of the behind-the-scenes on Christmas morning. Pat keeps thousands of rights-of-entry, assessment and inspection paper work in order, while Emily tracks taskers for dozens of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers personnel and helps process timesheets and travel vouchers. The paperwork comes from the field, where digital entry was sometimes not possible due to power outages and lack of signal. The work done here keeps the workflow going – both getting roof install requests out to contractors doing the work and taking care of USACE personnel working long hours, every day.
