Master Sgt. Ricard De La Cruz of C Company, 1-19 Special Forces Group congratulates his team after their fast ropes insertion demonstration at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas, during the American Heroes Celebration April 17. During the demonstration, the soldiers slid down ropes from a UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter to capture a target. The two-day celebration fostered communication and interaction between the local community and the different elements that make up the Texas Military Forces.
