Warrant Officer Shannon Cruz, a member of the Texas Army National Guard Sport Parachute Demonstration Team, watches out for the landing target on the parade field at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas, during the American Heroes Celebration April 17. The team jumped from the UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter with bright red, white and blue parachutes onto the field filled with spectators. The two-day event fostered communication and interaction between the local community and the different elements that make up the Texas Military Forces.
