171025-N-RN119-0346 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 25, 2017) Marines from Combat Logistics Battalion 22 prepare to board landing craft air cushion (LCAC) 34, assigned to Assault Craft Unit 4, in the well deck of the Whidbey Island class amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD-44) during exercise Bold Alligator 2017 (BA17). Improving Navy-Marine Corps amphibious core competencies along with coalition, NATO, allied and partner nations are a necessary investment in the current and future readiness of our forces.
