171025-N-PM250-0000 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 25, 2017) Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Brandon Fisher, the loadmaster of Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) 54 attached to Assault Craft Unit 4, guides an armored vehicle down the ramp of LCAC 54. LCAC 54 is on board the Whidbey Island class amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD-44) in support of exercise Bold Alligator 2017 (BA17). Improving Navy-Marine Corps amphibious core competencies along with coalition, NATO, allied and partner nations are a necessary investment in the current and future readiness of our forces.
