6TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (September 18th, 2017) Aviation Ordnancemen and Marines ready ammunition and ordnance for pickup as an MH-60S Sea Hawk, assigned to the Chargers of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 26, lifts ammunition off of the flight deck of the multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) to the Dry Cargo and Ammunition Ship USNS Robert E. Peary (T-AKE 9). The ship is deployed with the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 6th Fleet area of operations.
