    TULLY GORGE, Australia – U.S. Marines and soldiers, along with soldiers from the Australian Army and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, battle through raging water while participating in a white water rafting expedition during Exercise Kowari 2017 Aug. 27, 2017. U.S. Marines and soldiers, along with soldiers from the Australian Army and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army worked together in teams to navigate the adverse waters, which built confidence and camaraderie between the participants. Kowari is an annual adventure training activity held in Australia to reinforce trilateral military relationships, trust and co-operation between Australia, China and the United States.
