URASOE CITY, OKINAWA, Japan— Marines with the Single Marine Program stood ready to perform during “The Picture Scrolls of the Three Great Urasoe Kings” in the 40th Annual Tedako Matsuri Festival July 22 in Urasoe City, Okinawa, Japan. Tedako means child of the sun. During this festival, respects are paid to King Eiso, a powerful king of the Ryukyu Kingdom.
