URASOE CITY, OKINAWA, Japan— Performers dance during “The Picture Scrolls of the Three Great Urasoe Kings” in the 40th Annual Tedako Matsuri Festival July 22 in Urasoe City, Okinawa, Japan. The Shisi-mai and Dragon Dance were performed. The festival is a way for the people of Urasoe City to pay their respects to King Eiso, a powerful king of the Ryukyu Kingdom.
