Hove, a platoon sergeant in Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division and resident of Ames, Iowa, walks through the ranks and awards his platoon members, Spc. Derek Bucher of Sheldon, Iowa and Spc. Justin Ishmael-Rupp from Sioux City, Iowa, the Red Bull combat patch Tuesday during a patch ceremony at Bagram Air Field here. The unit flew the City of Boone flag during the ceremony to recognize their support of the citizen Soldiers that are stationed there when not deployed.
