Smith, Boone, Iowa residents and Soldiers in Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, prepare the U.S. and City of Boone, Iowa flags to be flown Tuesday for a patch ceremony held at Bagram Airfield here. The unit flew the City of Boone flag to recognize their support of the citizen soldiers that are stationed there when not deployed.
