Sgt. 1st Class David M. Bailey, a platoon sergeant and resident of Boone, Iowa, is awarded the Red Bull combat patch by 1st Sgt. Corey Westra, an Elkhart, Iowa resident and Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division first sergeant, Tuesday during a patch ceremony at Bagram Airfield here. The unit flew the City of Boone flag during the ceremony to recognize their support of the citizen soldiers that are stationed there when not deployed.
