Photo illustration of a Marine created in Photoshop to depict the operating environment of modern-day, jungle/woodland combat Marines. The Marine model was photographed in a studio equipped with a weapon and wearing woodland combat uniform and gear; then, through use of Photoshop, the model was digitally placed in a wooded scene. Shadow effects and the use of a wooded backdrop were used to create the full effect of the scene. Lighting and color adjustments were used for finishing touches.
