Photo illustration of a Marine created in Adobe Photoshop to depict the operating environment of modern-day, cold-weather combat Marines. The Marine model was photographed in a studio equipped with a weapon and wearing full cold-weather combat uniform and gear; then, through use of Photoshop, the model was digitally placed in a snowy mountaneous scene. Three different images of snow and mountains were used to create the full effect of the scene. Lighting and color adjustments were used for finishing touches.
