AT SEA (September 12, 2016) – A Marine with Maritime Raid Force, 11th Marine Expeditionary Units, clears floor panels in the engine room of a simulated enemy vessel during a Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure mission executed off the coast of San Clemente, California, Sept. 12, 2016. The VBSS mission was done as part of 11th MEU’s Units Certification Exercise, the final major exercise in their pre-deployment training cycle prior to their Western Pacific 16-2 deployment.
