Yokosuka, Japan (March 15, 2017) Captain Buzz Donnelly, commanding officer of the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) talks with Vice Adm. Thomas J. Moore, Commander, Naval Sea System Command. Moore finished his visit aboard Reagan with a stop in the commanding officer’s office. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
