Yokosuka, Japan (March 15, 2017) Paul Skogerboe, U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center’s carrier program manager briefs Vice Adm. Thomas J. Moore, Commander, Naval Sea System Command during a visit to the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan’s (CVN 76). Moore visited the ship to observe the progress of Ronald Reagan’s 2017 Selected Restricted Availability (SRA) period. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
