A U.S. Air Force E-3 Sentry AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System) aircraft is parked on a tarmac, identifiable by the distinctive rotating radar dome mounted above the fuselage. A ground crew member is silhouetted against bright sunlight while performing an inspection or maintenance task near one of the underwing jet engines. The image is taken in strong backlit conditions with the sun creating lens flare effects.
