EASTERN TRAINING AREA, OKINAWA, Japan – 60mm mortars fire for effect at the Eastern Training Area, Okinawa, Japan, during the annual rifle squad/crew-serve weapon competition held from Nov. 28 through Nov. 30. Squads formed from 3rd Marine Division’s major subordinate commands and Marines with 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II MEF, competed to earn the title Super Squad.
