ATLANTIC OCEAN (Dec. 8, 2016) – Petty Officer 2nd Class Elizabeth Gilbert, a native of Cleveland, places a name tag on a press in the parachute repair shop aboard amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Iwo Jima is underway pursuing Mobility-Engineering (MOB-E) and Mobility-Seaman (MOB-S) certifications as part of the ship’s pre-deployment qualification process.
