GARDEN CITY, New York (Nov. 10, 2016) Lt. Amanda Sciberras, operations officer for Navy Recruiting District New York and a native of Oak Forest, Illinois, asking female-Navy trivia to start the Women's Symposium for future female Sailors in the Delayed Entry Program in Long Island. Female Sailors from across the recruiting district wore various uniforms to highlight their purposes and discussed topics including grooming standards, fitness standards, educational benefits and money management with the future Sailors.
