SOUDA BAY, Greece (Oct. 21, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class Chris Bauers mans an M240B machine gun as the guided-missile destroyer USS Stout (DDG 55) enters port. Bauers serves on board Stout as a gunner’s mate and helps deploy and maintain all weapon systems. Stout, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe.
