ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 22, 2016) Lt. Paul DeLuca, assigned the Horsemen of Detachment IV of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VRC) 40, pilots a C-2A Greyhound en route to the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). VRC-40 Detachment IV is currently providing support to Ike its Carrier Strike Group which are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
