161021-N-SH284-031 BREMERTON, Wash. (Oct. 21, 2016) Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus presents Cmdr. Jason Rogers, Master Chief Petty Officer Maria Strader and Lt. Jennifer Fleming, all representing USS Shoup (DDG 86), with the 2016 SECNAV energy and water management award during an all-hands call at Naval Base Kitsap-Bremerton. The award was accepted on behalf of USS Shoup (DDG 86). During his visit to the Navy's third-largest fleet concentration area, Mabus also met with more than 100 federal, state and local elected and civic leaders at a reception in Bremerton to thank them for their continued Navy support.
